Miami’s Talley took top honors in both the shot put and discus, and placed second in the hammer throw, over the weekend.  With a throw of 187’4″ in the discus, she smashed her previous best, breaking both the Miami and ACC all-time records for the event.  Talley is now a regional qualifier in the discus, shot put and the hammer throw.

The FortBenning, Ga. native and the rest of the University of Miami track and field team will travel to Atlanta to take part in the ACC Outdoor Championships.  The Hurricanes will be aiming for their third team conference championship since joining the ACC in 2005.  Talley is the reigning champion in the discus throw and will look to add another title to her list of accomplishments.
