Beverly Goebel Named Muscle Milk Athlete of the Week

Coral Gables, FLA (www.hurricanesports.com) – Sophomore Beverly Goebel headed in the equalizer in the 84th minute as the No. 25 University of Miami women’s soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw with Clemson at Cobb Stadium on Saturday evening, has been named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the period October 22-28. It was Goebel’s fourth goal of the season – third best on the squad. She also ranks third on the team with 12 points on four goals and four assists in just her first season with the `Canes.
