Soccer Team is Named Muscle Milk Student-Athletes of the Week

Coral Gables, Fla. (www. hurricanesports.com) – – The entire UM women’s soccer team has been selected as the Muscle Milk Student-Athletes of the Week for the period September 24-30.

The soccer team went undefeated in the opening weekend of ACC play, knocking off NC State, 2-1, on Thursday, and then shutting out seventh-ranked and defending NCAA champions North Carolina, 1-0, on Sunday. With the wins, the Hurricanes (6-2-2, 2-0 ACC) jump into first place in the ACC and are the only undefeated team in conference play.
