Miami Rowing Concludes the Final Day at the Aramark South/Central Sprints

Oak Ridge, Tenn. -The Miami rowing squad concluded action at the Aramark South/Central Championships Sunday with the Varsity Four, JV Eight, and Varsity competing in the C Final Sunday, at the Melton Hill Lake.
Miami’s first race of the day saw a sixth-place finish by the Varsity Four crew with a time of 8:04.98, capturing six points.
In the second race of the day, the Hurricanes’ JV Eight boat posted a time of 7:04.25 to finish fifth, earning them 30 points.
The Varsity Eight crew finished with 63 points after placing fifth with a time of 6:55.06.
The Hurricanes finished the day with 99 total points and palced 17th overall, out of 23 participating teams.
