Recording one of the best all-around seasons in Hurricane history, James concluded her senior season as UM’s all-time leading scorer with 2,406 career points.

The Full Court Press All-America selection adds to her already impressive accomplishments this season which landed her both AP and Kodak/WBCA All-America honors as well as Second Team All-America honors by Women’s Basketball News Service.

A 2006 First Team All-ACC selection, she averaged a league-leading 21.5 points per game throughout her senior campaign and was the only player in the ACC to score in double figures every game played this season.

Connecting on 53-of-137 three point attempts, she recorded the fourth-highest single season three point percentage (.387) in school history. Her 53 three-pointers are the third-highest and the 137 attempts marks the eighth-highest single season total at UM.

Equally impressive from the free throw line, James notched the fourth-highest single season free throw percentage at UM, hitting an impressive 83.0 percent from the charity stripe. She hit 156 free throws, which was good for second all time, on 188 attempts, the fourth-highest total at UM.
