Hurricanes Wrap-Up Their Second Day of the Ohio State Invitational

Columbus, Ohio – The University of Miami diving team finished their second day of the Ohio State Invitational taking spots in the top three in men’s and women’s competition.
In the women’s one meter diving, Jenna Dreyer, Heather Bounds and Brittany Viola finished second, fourth, and tenth place respectively. Dreyer finished the finals round with a 289.95 finish. Bounds posted a 261.30 score, while Viola registered a score of 235.05. The women’s team finished ninth place for the day.
After coming away with a seventh place finish scoring 315.50 in the preliminaries, Ruben Ross captured a third place finish in the finals with a score of 356.45 in the three meter diving competition. Ross’ third place finish put Miami in tenth place out of 12 teams for the day.
Miami will be back in action for the final day of the Ohio State Invitational tomorrow at 12:00 p.m.
