Women's Crew Will Conclude Their Fall Season at the Rivanna Romp

Charlottesville, Va. – The University of Miami women’s crew team will wrap-up their fall season as they join ten other schools to compete in the Rivanna Romp hosted by he University of Virginia Sunday, November 12. The race will be held at the Rivanna Reservoir beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Other schools competing will be Central Florida, Clemson, Duke, Georgetown, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, and Virginia.
Beginning at 9 a.m., the varsity eight event will kick off the competition followed by the novice eight competition at 10 a.m. A small boat competition is scheduled thereafter at 11 a.m.
The Hurricanes will head to the Rivanna Romp after coming off a successful weekend at the world’s largest regatta, the 42nd Head of the Charles Regatta, in Boston, Mass. The Hurricanes made their presence known as they placed within the top ten in two out of three events.
