Hurricanes Kickoff Party Schedule for Friday, Aug. 25 at Gameworks, Shops at Sunset Place

Coral Gables, Fla. (www. hurricanesports.com) – – The Miami Hurricanes Football Kick-Off Party has been scheduled for Friday, August 25th from 4-9 PM at GameWorks, Shops at Sunset Place in South Miami. The event is free to the public.

Fans can listen in as Jim Mandich from WQAM broadcasts his show live on location from 4-7 PM. Fans can also interact and take photographs with Sebastian the Ibis, the Miami Hurricane Sunsations, and other special surprise guests from 7-9 PM. Fans can also purchase UM merchandise and UM game tickets.

“We are very excited about the opportunity to celebrate the start of the upcoming football season at GameWorks. It will be a fun and interactive evening for our Miami Hurricane fans,” stated Kelly Jensen, General Manager for Hurricane Sports Properties.

GameWorks is the Official Watch Party for the Miami Hurricanes for the fourth year in a row. GameWorks will also be hosting WQAM’s (560 AM) Hurricane Hotline Show at the GameWorks location in South Miami. The show will feature live interviews with Larry Coker every week live at GameWorks.

GameWorks is the total entertainment experience, consisting of a full-service restaurant, a high-energy bar and interactive games and attractions. Since its first location premiered in 1997, GameWorks has 14 venues throughout the United States. GameWorks is owned by Sega Entertainment USA, Inc.
