Hurricanes Ready For Saturday's Spring Game

Coral Gables – The Hurricanes went through a practice in shorts on Friday afternoon at the Greentree Practice Fields, with dozens of former players watching from the sidelines. Among the notables were Jimmy Johnson, Gino Torretta, Micheal Barrow, Jessie Armstead, Darrin Smith and Eric Winston.

“It was a good finish for us,” said head coach Larry Coker. “This has been an outstanding spring. We’ll have a good finish tomorrow in the annual spring game, and hopefully everybody will stay healthy. Everybody has a good attitude and they’re ready for Saturday.”

The annual spring game and the BankUnited CanesFest will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Orange Bowl. The spring game is free to the public, and so is parking.

The scoring system is as follows:
