Women's Golf Places 11th At Pinehurst Challenge

Coral Gables, Fla. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s golf team shot a final round 320 to finish 11th with a three-day total of 957 at the Pinehurst Challenge in Pinehurst, N.C.
Maryland, which led wire-to-wire, won the team title with a score of 917.
Miami’s top individual finisher was junior Tiffany Prats (Williston, Fla.) who posted a three-day score of 236 to place 23rd. UNC Wilmington’s Michelle Jarman won the individual championship with a score of 221.
The Hurricanes return to action March 20-21 at the Waterlefe Invitational in Bradenton, Fla.
