Hurricanes Host No. 1 Florida Friday at 1 p.m.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Coming off an impressive 7-0 upset over ACC rival, No. 11 Florida State Monday afternoon, Miami will play host to No. 1 Florida Friday at 1 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
The Hurricanes (2-0), ranked 40th in the latest Fila/ITA national rankings, rolled through FSU, winning five of six singles matches in straight sets in their ACC opener. UM opened the season last weekend with a 6-1 win over FAU.
The Hurricanes have won all but one of their 12 singles matches in dual play while sweeping all six double matches behind a lineup that boasts two nationally ranked singles player in 25th-ranked junior Luigi D’Agord and 87th-ranked junior Josh Cohen.
The top-ranked Gators (3-0) are coming off a 4-3 win over then No. 7 Baylor last Sunday in Waco.
Florida’s roster consists of two nationally ranked seniors in Stefan Tell (No. 70) and Vladimir Obradovic (No. 90).
One of UM’s longest standing rivalries, the Hurricanes hold a 46-11-1 series advantage over the Gators.
