Women's Golf Ninth At Taco Bell Intercollegiate

Greenville, N.C. (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s golf team recorded a second-round score of 300 and is tied for ninth heading into heading into Sunday’s final round of the Taco Bell Intercollegiate in Greenville, N.C.

The Hurricane’s two-round total of 599 (299-300) ties them with host East Carolina. Georgia State leads the team competition with a two round total of 575 (285-290).

Miami has been led this weekend by sophomore Jessica Steward (Mystic, Conn.) who currently tied for 20th with a score of 147 (71-76). Junior Josie Shinn (Pinehurst, N.C.) is tied for 22nd with a score of 148 (76-72).

Maryland’s Katie Stepanek leads the individually with a two-round total of 136 (69-67).

Final round action is scheduled for Sunday.
