Coral Gables, Fla. (www. hurricanesports.com) – – A full schedule of activities are scheduled as Miccosukee presents the Larry Coker Hurricane Celebrity Weekend on Thursday, April 21 – Saturday, April 23.

The weekend kicks of at Noon on Thursday at the University of Miami Hecht Athletic Center, Edgerrin James Team Meeting Room, with a “Chalk Talk” with the UM Coaching Staff and former Hurricane greats, followed by lunch with the current UM Football team by Fuddruckers.

Later on Thursday at 7 PM, the scene shifts to Bernie’s Steakhouse in South Miami for Bernie Kosar’s Celebrity Dinner.

On Friday, the Miccosukee Golf and Country Club will host The Coker Classic Golf Tournament. Tournament begins at 9 AM, followed by the awards reception at 2 PM.

Finally, on Saturday, the day kicks off at Noon at Stike Miami, where former Hurricane great and current Miami Dolphin Vernon Carey hosts his NFL Draft Party. Then, at 1 PM, former Hurricane All-American, and current All-Pro Indianapolis Colt Edgerrin James hosts the Hurricanes Bowl.

Sponsorship are available at the Orange ($5,000) Level, which gains you access to the entire weekend, and the Green ($2,500) Level for entries in the golf, bowling and Coaches Chalk Talk event. Tee-sign and program recognition are available for $250. Additional sponsorships for the weekend include athletic gift bags ($3,000), photos ($2,000), towels ($1,500), balls ($1,000) and many more.
