UM Travels to Florida Atlantic for Final Regular-Season Match

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami women’s soccer team will head to Boca Raton, Fla. Wednesday night to take on in-state rival Florida Atlantic at 7 p.m. in the Hurricanes’ regular-season finale.
Miami, who enters the match with an overall record of 3-11-0, will look to snap a three-game skid Wednesday night after losing at Virginia Tech 2-1 this past Sunday in the last outing. Each of the Hurricanes’ last three loses have been by just one goal.
FAU host Miami with an overall record of 10-3-3 after downing Troy 6-0 in their last match.
The Hurricanes will look to the play of junior Lindsey Yach against the Owls. Yach, who’s four goals on the season leads all UM players, has accounted for two goals over Miami’s last two matches.
Miami leads the all-time series with FAU at 4-2. The Hurricanes came up short against the Owls in the two school’s last meeting, a 2-1 overtime decision in Coral Gables in 2003.
