Miami Travels Upstate to Take on Jacksonville

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Coming off their first win of the season this past Sunday, the University of Miami women’s soccer team will travel upstate to take on Jacksonville University Tuesday afternoon 4 p.m. at Patton Park in Jacksonville, Fla.
Playing their third match in six days, the Hurricanes (1-4-0) take to Jacksonville (1-4-1) after downing ACC rival, Maryland 2-1 Sunday afternoon in Coral Gables on a game-winning goal by freshman Cynthia Dongo in the 85th minute.
Fellow freshman Lindsay Curtin also netted the first goal of her career against the Terrapins, scoring from 20 yards out through the legs of the Maryland keeper.
Jacksonville enters the match in the wake of a 5-0 loss to No. 5 Florida State their last time out September 14.
