Hurricanes Hold Annual Football Awards Banquet

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami will hold it’s annual Football Awards Banquet at the Radisson Mart Plaza Convention Center on Thursday, Dec. 4. A cocktail reception is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

Presented by the UM Hurricane Club and the Miami Touchdown Club, the banquet will honor the 21 seniors in the class of 2004 and others for their outstanding performance during the season. Among the awards presented are the Jack Harding Most Valuable Player Award, the Jesse Armstead Comeback Player of the Year, the Nick Chickillo Most Improved Player Award, the Walt Kichefski Hurricane Award and the Albert Bentley Most Valuable Walk-on Award.

Tickets to the banquet are priced at $540 for a table of nine or $60 per person. Tickets purchased after Nov. 26 and all walk-up tickets are $80 each. For ticket information, please call 1-800-GO-CANES (option 6).
