Soccer Hosts No. 12 West Virginia

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami soccer team hosts No. 12 West Virginia in a BIG EAST cross divisional match Friday night at 7 p.m. at Cobb Stadium.

The Hurricanes enter the match 3-2-0 overall while the Mountaineers on a three-match winning streak are 3-1-0 on the season.

Miami is 1-2 all-time versus West Virginia, winning their first matchup in 1999 1-0 in Coral Gables, Fla.

Lindsey Yach (Carrollton, Texas) leads the Hurricanes with five points on the season, including two goals and one assist.

All-American Chrissie Abbott leads the Mountaineers with seven points (three goals and one assist).
