No. 19 Women's Tennis Cruises Past ODU, 7-0

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The No. 19-ranked Miami women’s tennis team beat Old Dominion 7-0 in its fifth shutout of the season Saturday afternoon in Norfolk, Va.
The Hurricanes improve to 14-4 overall while the Lady Monarchs fall to 6-10 on the season.
Freshman Melissa Applebaum (Coral Gables, Fla.) ranked No. 73in the nation knocked off the No. 18 ranked player Nataly Cahana 6-7, 7-6, 6-2 in singles action.
The Hurricanes return to action Sunday at Noon facing No. 16-ranked William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
