Zach Engle, Miami/Florida to Jeremy Shockey: You are the man!!!!!!!! We will miss you alot next year. Enjoy the NFL.

John Lisk, West Jefferson, NC to Coach Coker: I don’t think enough has been said about what a fabulous COACHING job was done this season. You certainly had talent, but your game plans, game time adjustments, clock management, handling of personnel and molding of a new staff, with two new coordinators, needs to recognized as one of the great coaching jobs in history. Everyone spends so much time on how no one knew your name or how long you’d been an assistant, etc., which in my mind only adds to the depth of your accomplishment. There are many of us out here who admire your ability, your character and your presence and wish you much continued success. There were lots of coaches, with lots of good players, but you are the only one who went undefeated and won the national championship. Congratulations!!!

Steve Forster, La Mirada Ca. to Lee Saage: Congratulations as a Hurricane Alum on the National Championship!!!

Patrick K. Finnegan, Weirton, WV to The Staff and TEAM : Way to go, I live in Weirton West Virginia and I have to listen to all this stuff about WVU, Ohio State, PITT, and Penn State. I am proud to be a Hurricanes FAN, I try to get to a road game every year. I fly Hurricane flags during the football season and even have put the Split U up in Christmas lights on my fathers’ house (Notre Dame fan), these lights are 6 foot high and can be seen from a block and a half away. I am very proud of the Staff, and the Players, keep the tradition going and don’t ever give up. Hope to be in Morgantown West Virginia when the defending National Champions visit the Mountaineers. Best wishes for next season.
Yours truly, A West Virginia
Miami HURRICANES fan,
Patrick Finnegan

I am impressed with the character of your athletes. this is only achieved through positive role modeling. Although you have raised the bar for excellence on the field, you have given the youth of today positive role models which they so desperately need. As the daughter of a former coach(Harvard football) all of you deserve a well done for the excellent coaching, discipline & motivation you have instilled in your players. They will be better men for it. Fran Fusco ER Manager Veteran’s Hospital Tampa
