Swimming & Diving Hosts FAU

Coral Gables, FL (hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami swimming and diving team will host Florida Atlantic Saturday at the Norman Whitten Student Union Pool at 1 p.m. Admission is free.

This season, the Hurricanes are led by several strong divers. In a home meet against Florida State last weekend, UM received several strong performances including those of Miguel Velazquez (Mexico City, Mexico) who won both the men’s 1 and 3-meter diving events with scores of 208.00 and 142.05 respectively.

On the women’s side, the Hurricanes will feature Olympian Manon Van Rooijen (Westdorpe, Holland) in the 200- and 100-yard freestyle events.
