Soccer Hosts Providence

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami soccer team looks to remain undefeated in BIG EAST play hosting Providence Sunday at 1 p.m. at Cobb Stadium.

The Hurricanes enter the contest 5-3-0 overall and 2-0-0 in BIG EAST play after defeating No. 21 Boston College Friday night.

Providence enters the contest 3-2-2 overall and 0-1-0 in conference play after falling to St. John’s Friday night.

Miami leads the all-time series with the Friars 3-0-0.

Britney Butcher (Bothell, Wash.) continues to lead the Miami offense with eight goals and one assist totaling 17 points.
