Soccer Hosts Florida State

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The Miami women’s soccer team will host rival Florida State Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Cobb Stadium on the UM campus.
The Hurricanes enter the match 3-1-0 overall after falling to Missouri, 1-0, Sunday afternoon in the Seminole Invitational in Tallahassee, Fla.
FSU (1-1-2) dropped out of the top 25 this week after falling to Louisiana State, 2-1, Sunday to conclude the Seminole Invite.
The series between Miami and FSU is tied at two-all. The Hurricanes won the first two meetings in 1998 and 1999 but FSU has won the last two.
Britney Butcher (Bothell, Wash.) leads Miami with six goals scored, while Jez Ratliff leads FSU with two goals scored.
Miami has outscored the Seminoles 13 to five over the first four matches of the season.
