No. 23 Soccer Faces Missouri

CORAL GABELS, Fla.-The No. 23-ranked University of Miami women’s soccer team concludes the Seminole Invitational facing Missouri Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in Tallahassee, Fla.
The Hurricanes (3-0-0) will face Missouri (1-1-1) for the first time ever.
Miami enters the contest on a three-match winning streak after defeating LSU, 1-0, Friday afternoon in the first round of the tournament.
The Tigers tied No. 15 Florida State two-all Friday night.
Missouri came into Friday night’s game after upsetting preseason No. 23 Illinois in double OT in its season opener and off a 2001 campaign that saw them go 13-8-0. They finished .500 in the Big 12 and are currently ranked No. 7 in the Central region.
Britney Butcher (Bothell, Wash.) continues to lead the Miami offense with six goals scored.
