Four Soccer Players Set To Graduate

Coral Gables, Fla.– The University of Miami soccer program will see four players walk across the stage this Friday as part of Graduation Commencement ceremonies.

The players include Rachel Elsby (Microbiology and English), Alexis MacKenzie (Marketing), Jennifer Sanchez (Motion Pictures and Anthropology) and Elizabeth Swinson (Business Management).

Among this year’s academic standouts in soccer was Elsby, a senior from Boca Raton, Fla. Elsby was named a 2001-02 BIG EAST Academic All-Star and Who’s Who Among American Universities & Colleges.

Sanchez was also named to the 2001-02 BIG EAST Academic All-Star list.
