No. 43 Men's Tennis Beats Clemson, 5-2

CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 43-ranked Miami men’s team won four singles matches and the doubles point as the Hurricanes defeated Clemson, 5-2, in Clemson, SC Saturday evening.
With the win, Miami improves to 9-8 on the year, while Clemson falls to 11-16 this season.
At number-one singles, No. 16 Todd Widom defeated Goran Sterijovski 6-4, 6-4. Widom paired with Tomas Smid and won at number-one doubles with a 9-7 victory over Clemson’s Marko Gojanovic and Sander Koning.
Smid, Jose Lieberman and Tarik El Bassiouni also won their singles matches.
The Hurricanes are back in action Sunday at 1 p.m. facing No. 46 Georgia Tech.
