No. 27 Women's Tennis Falls To No. 23 Notre Dame, 4-3

SOUTH BEND, In.-The No. 27-ranked Miami women’s tennis team fell, 4-3, to No. 23 Notre Dame in its final regular season match Sunday afternoon in South Bend, In.
Miami wraps up the regular season with an overall record of 11-6, while the Fighting Irish improve to 12-11 on the season.
Notre Dame swept through doubles winning all three matches.
No. 66 Mari Toro won at No. 1 singles, beating No. 86 Becky Varnum, 6-4, 6-3.
Freshman Staci Stevens won her sixth singles match in a row with a, 6-4, 6-3, victory over Lindsey Green at No. 2 singles.
Ewelina Skaza also won her singles match at No. 6 singles, beating Sarah Jane Connelly in three sets, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3.
The Hurricanes will host the BIG EAST Tennis Tournament April 19-21 in Coral Gables, Fla.
