No. 35 Men's Tennis Hosts Florida A&M

Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The No.35 University of Miami men’s tennis team will face Florida A&M Friday, March 1 at 6 p.m. at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center on the UM campus.

The Hurricanes (2-3) are coming off a 6-1 loss to No. 7 Notre Dame. The defeat snapped Miami’s four-match winning streak against the Irish, including two regular season wins and BIG EAST Championship match victories each of the past two seasons.

Miami has recorded two wins this season, including a 4-3 upset victory over No. 17 South Alabama and a 6-1 routing of Western Michigan.

The Hurricanes’ three losses have come at the hands of ranked opponents including No. 48 Florida Atlantic (4-3), No. 56 Florida State (6-1) and No. 7 Notre Dame (6-1).
