Basketball BIG EAST Pick 'n Roll Mini-plans Now Available

CORAL GABLES, FL – The University of Miami will offer a BIG EAST Pick n Roll mini-plan package for the upcoming 2001-02 men’s basketball season. The package is only $80 and includes tickets to any five BIG EAST Conference games of the customer’s choice.
BIG EAST Pick n Roll mini-plan seats will be located in the lower-bowl sidecourt sections of the Miami Arena.
Miami’s BIG EAST Conference schedule includes games versus Pittsburgh (Jan. 15), Providence (Jan. 19), Villanova (Jan. 24), Boston College (Jan. 29), Connecticut (Feb. 2), St. John’s (Feb. 13), Notre Dame (Feb. 23), and Virginia Tech (Mar. 2).
Defending BIG EAST Conference Champion Boston College, Providence and Notre Dame all advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season, while perennial power Connecticut is one of the favorites to win the BIG EAST title this season.
Miami (7-0) is off to its best start since 1997 and is well on its way to a sixth consecutive postseason appearance. Miami’s high powered offensive boasts four players averaging in double-figures including National Player of the Year Candidate Darius Rice and preseason All-BIG EAST selection John Salmons.
The UM Ticket Office, located at the Hecht Athletic Center on the UM campus, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. For more information or to purchase tickets contact the Hurricane Ticket Office at 1-800-GO-CANES.
