Miami Opens Fall Schedule

CORAL GABLES, Fla.– The Miami women’s tennis team is set for their first fall action of the 2001 season. The squad will head to Athens, Ga. where they will compete in the Bulldog Invitational on, Friday, Sept. 28 thru Sunday, Sept. 30.

There will only be individual competition with each team fielding sixt singles players and three doubles teams.

Miami returns two seniors, two juniors and three sophomores, while welcoming three newcomers to the program this season. With four returning starters and an amazing pool of incoming talent, the 2001-02 season looks to be one filled with excitement for the tennis team.
