Q: From Adam Houchins, Tamarac, FL: I am very disappointed to hear about the cancellation of the UM-Washington game. I think this is the wrong message to send to those who would perpetrate these acts. We need to show them that they will not change the lives of American citizens.

A: There are many ways to view these facts. We decided the issue with the best available information at that time. I feel confident we have done the right thing.

Q: From Felix A. Meschini, Deptford, NJ: How long before the Orange Bowl will no longer be available as our home field? Are there any other considerations? We have to do something so the students can come out and support us in greater numbers then they presently are doing.

A: The Orange Bowl has been our home for 66 years. We are working with the City of Miami to improve that facility so we can play there for the foreseeable future.
