No. 35 Women's Tennis Falls To No. 7 Notre Dame, 6-1

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The No. 35-ranked University of Miami women’s tennis team fell 6-1 to No. 7 Notre Dame Saturday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
The Hurricanes fall to 10-5 overall, while the Fighting Irish improve to 12-3 on the season.
The Fighting Irish swept the doubles point and went on to win five of the six singles matches en route to the victory over the Hurricanes.
Freshman Sihem Bennacer was the lone Hurricane to record a victory, downing Kim Guy in three sets, 1-6, 6-1, 7-5.
The Hurricanes are back in action Sunday at Noon playing host to West Virginia at the Neil Schiff Tennis Complex.
