No. 43 Women's Tennis Falls To No. 30 Texas A&M, 4-3

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The No. 43 ranked University of Miami women’s tennis team fell to No. 30 Texas A&M 4-3 in a hard fought battle Sunday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
The Hurricanes fall to 5-2, while the Aggies improve to 6-0 overall.
Texas A&M took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
Alanna Broderick won at No. 1 singles, beating Olivia Karlikova 6-4, 7-6 (5). No. 81 Bettina Hafner downed Leah Killen at No. 3 singles 6-4, 7-6 (3) and Marcy Hora defeated Martina Nedorostova in three sets 6-2, 2-6, 6-4.
No. 99 Katia Bogomolova won the first set 6-2 at No. 2 singles and then fell 3-6 in the second set, Jessica Roland went on to defeat her 6-2 in the third set.
Hafner and Sihem Bennacer defeated Killen and Eva Marcial at No. 3 doubles 8-4.
The Hurricanes are back in action Saturday at Noon taking on visiting FSU at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.
