McArthur Dairy Fan Van Visits Miami Women's Basketball

Coral Gables, FL (February 7, 2001) – Approximately 150 elementary schoolstudents took part in the University of Miami/ McArthur Dairy Fan Vanprogram during the women’s basketball game vs West Virginia University atthe Knight Sports Complex. Students from L.C. Evans Elementary school andOpa Locka Elementary school came to the game as part of a sponsorship fromMcArthur Dairy. The sponsorship allows students from area elementaryschools to experience the atmosphere of college basketball. The 150students witnessed the Hurricanes deciding victory over the Mountaineersof West Virginia.
