Women's Hoops Hosts West Virginia

CORAL GABLES, FL – The University of Miami women’s basketball team (10-12, 4-7 BIG EAST) will host West Virginia (6-17, 1-11 BIG EAST) on Tuesday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Knight Sports Complex.

Most recently UM went 2-1 during a three game road swing. The ‘Canes defeated West Virginia (70-50) and Providence (71-66) while falling to top-ranked Connecticut (93-46).

UM is led by Sheila James (14.1 ppg., 5.1 rpg.) and Alicia Hartlaub (10.3 ppg., 6.5 rpg.).

The Mountaineers travel to Coral Gables riding a four-game losing streak. WVU fell to Seton Hall, 58-55, in their last contest. WVU is led by Brandi Batch (11.1 ppg., 7.3 rpg.) and Mandy Ronay (10.3 ppg., 3.1 rpg.).
