UM Soccer Set To Host Georgetown

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The University of Miami women’s soccer team will play host to BIG EAST Mid-Atlantic division opponent Georgetown Sunday at 1 p.m. at Cobb Stadium.

Miami enters the contest 8-8-1 overall, while the Hoyas are 8-7-2 overall.

The Hurricanes defeated Rutgers 2-1 Friday night at Cobb Stadium. Freshman Mary Luke (Ft. Pierce, Fla.) scored the game winning goal on an assist from sophomore Lisa Gomez (Boca Raton, Fla.).

Georgetown beat Florida International 2-1 Friday night in Miami, Fla. to snap a two-game losing streak.

This will be the first meeting between the Hurricanes and the Hoyas.
