Big East Crossover Opponents Announced

PROVIDENCE, RI – The BIG EAST Conference has announced thecross-divisional men’s basketball league games for the 2000-01 season. Thesematch-ups will supplement 12 division games.
Each BIG EAST team will play a 16-game conference schedule. The BIGEAST will consist of two seven-team divisions for the upcoming season witheach divisional opponent meeting on a home-and-home basis. Each team willthen play four games against teams from the other division.
Miami’s divisional opponents will be Boston College, Connecticut,Providence, St. John’s, Villanova and Virginia Tech. The Hurricanes’crossover games will consist of home clashes with Seton Hall and WestVirginia, and road contests versus Pittsburgh and Syracuse.
Dates and times have yet to be determined.
