“It was a little disappointing for our varsity women’s eight today,” said Head Crew Coach Joe O’Connor. “We had many opportunities to overtake Yale today, but were unable to. Our JV girls did real well today. By the time we have our home race next weekend, we’ll have a pretty solid varsity boat.”
University of Miami Crew will return to action following Spring Break as it hosts a match race against Central Florida on Saturday, March 18 on UM’s home course on Indian Creek in Miami Beach.
During Spring Break, Miami will scrimmage against the women’s crew from the U.S. Naval Academy and Syracuse.
