Women's Basketball Heads To No. 5 Notre Dame

The University of Miami women’s basketball (11-13, 5-8) travels to South Bend, Ind. to take on fifth-ranked Notre Dame (23-2, 14-0). The game marks the second contest of a two-game road trip for the Hurricanes and the second meeting between the two schools this season. The Irish took a 76-54 decision in Coral Gables in January to take an 8-2 lead in the all-time series.
Most recently, UM suffered a 66-61 loss at Georgetown. The `Canes led for much of the game before falling behind with just under four minutes remaining in the second half. Miami was outscored 31-19 by the Hoyas in the second stanza and were held scoreless during the final 3:18 of the game.
Senior Gina Graziani finished with a game-high 18 points and eight assists. Rookie Alicia Hartlaub chipped in with 16 markers.
Notre Dame is led by Ruth Riley (15.7 ppg., 7.0 rpg.) and Alicia Ratay (15.4 ppg., 5.3 rpg.)
