CORAL GABLES, FL – The no. 35-ranked University of Miami men’s tennis team (4-0) continued their undefeated season with a victory over No. 31-ranked Alabama (0-2). Miami won four of the six singles matches and took two of the three matches en route to a 5-2 victory.

UM received singles victories from Peter Hoffman (Key Biscayne), Johan Lindqvist (Kil, Sweden), Jose Lieberman (Los Angeles, CA), and Michael Lang (Sarasota, FL). The doubles teams of Lieberman/Lang and Mark Arrowsmith (Orange Park, FL)/Joel Berman (Seminole, FL) both recorded victories.

Today’s match will be televised on Sunday, February 13 on SportsChannel Florida at 7:00 p.m.

The Hurricanes return to action on Sunday, February 13 at 12:30 p.m. when they host Alabama at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center on the Coral Gables campus.
