UM Women Hosts No. 18/22 Boston College

The University of Miami women’s basketball team (8-10, 2-5 BIG EAST) will host No. 18/22 Boston College (17-4, 6-1 BIG EAST) on Wednesday, February 2 at the Knight Sports Complex on the Coral Gables campus. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
This is the 15th meeting between the two schools with Miami holding an 11-3 advantage. The Hurricanes have won the last three regular season meetings. The Eagles’ last win at the Knight Sports Complex was a 66-48 victory on January 2, 1997.
The game marks the last home game for UM before a three-game road swing. The ‘Canes are in the midst of a four-game skid, most recently falling to No. 1 Connecticut (84-36).
The Hurricanes are led by Alicia Hartlaub (10.0 ppg., 6.8 rpg.) and Gina Graziani (9.3 ppg., 5.7 apg.).
BC travels to Coral Gables after defeating Pittsburgh, 85-54, last week. Boston College is led by Cal Bouchard (15.9 ppg., 2.1 apg.) and Alissa Murphy(14.9 ppg., 6.1 rpg.).
