Coral Gables, FL – The University of Miami baseball and women’s basketball programs hosted the fourth annual Howling Hurricanes Haunted House tonight at Mark Light Stadium on the UM campus. An estimated crowd of over 2,000 people attended the one-of-a kind event.

“Once again, the Haunted House was a huge success,” said Head Baseball Coach Jim Morris. “It’s amazing to see the finished product of all the hard work put in by the Diamond Darlings the rest of our volunteers.”

The Haunted House, which gave fans a safe way to spend Halloween, featured costumed appearances from members of the Hurricanes baseball and women’s basketball, teams. There was a costume contest, as well as a Happy House for younger children and plenty of games and prizes.

“The Haunted House is an excellent way for our student-athletes to give back to the community,” said Head Women’s Basketball Coach Ferne Labati. “It was a fun and safe way for children to spend their Halloween.”
