Miami vs. Virginia Tech Set For 9 p.m. on ESPN2

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami men’s basketball game against Virginia Tech on Feb. 9 has been set for 9 p.m. on ESPN2 in Coral Gables.
The Canes (13-7, 4-3) will face No. 7/5 Duke this weekend in Durham, then return to the BankUnited Center to face the Hokies (12-9, 1-5). Virginia Tech has home matchups with Duke (Feb. 2) and Clemson (Feb. 4) before heading to Florida for next week’s Thursday night game.
Four of Miami’s next seven games will be on the ESPN body of networks, including the game at Duke (EPSNU), vs. Virginia Tech (ESPN2), vs. North Carolina (ESPN) and vs. Florida State (ESPNU).
Miami is 13-7 overall after defeating Maryland, 90-86, in double overtime on Wednesday night in Coral Gables. The Canes, who are 4-3 in league play, are statistically led by Malcolm Grant’s 13.3 points per game, followed by Durand Scott (13.2 ppg) and Kenny Kadji (12.5 ppg). Reggie Johnson leads the team with 6.5 rebounds per outing.
