ACC Day and Rally Towel Night

CORAL GABLES, Fla. –  The Miami men’s basketball team will be taking on ACC foe Maryland on Wednesday and the first 2,000 fans inside the BankUnited Center will take home ACC tournament pennants. In honor of ACC day, the celebratory pennant will feature the date, time, and location of the 2012 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament.

For the first 750 students at the game, rally towels will be given away before the 8 p.m. tip-off. For residential students, do your part to attend and represent in the Battle of the Dorms. The dorm with the most amount of students will win a pizza party! Perhaps some special guests could stop by from athletics as well.

Miami beat Boston College 76-54 in an emphatic win on Sunday, and boasts an even record in conference for the first time since the 2008-09 season. Durand Scott ran away with 19 points in the win, tying his season-high. The Terps (13-7) are coming off a win against Virginia Tech last Saturday, and currently hold a .500 in ACC play as well.
