Miami Hosts ACC Rival Clemson Wednesday at Cobb Stadium

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami women’s soccer team will play host to ACC rival Clemson Wednesday night at Cobb Stadium with a scheduled 7 p.m. start time.
Coming off a scoreless, double overtime draw at Maryland last Sunday, the Hurricanes welcome the Tigers with an overall record of 7-5-1 and a 1-4-1 mark in league play. Miami has successfully defended the confines of Cobb Stadium this season posting a 5-1-0 record in home matches while outscoring opponents by a total of 9-2.
The Hurricanes are led by sophomore forward Rachael Rigamat’s team-high four goals and nine points.
Sophomore midfielder Paulelette Ricks-Chambers sits at second place on the Hurricane roster with three goals while junior forward Rebecca Tweneboah and sophomore midfielder Jenna Levenson each have two on the year.
Junior keeper Lauren McAdam anchors the UM defensive efforts with a UM single season record six shutouts on the year.
The Tigers head to Coral Gables with an overall record of 6-6-1 and a 1-3-1 in ACC matches.
Clemson freshman forward Nuria Zufia leads the Tigers with four goals and 10 points and sophomore midfielder Julie Bolt tops the CU roster and ranks among the ACC’s leaders with five assists.
The Hurricanes – who knocked off Clemson 1-0 last season on the road – and Tigers have split each of the previous two contests.
