Women's Soccer To Face Trinidad and Tobago National Team

Coral Gables, Fla. (www.hurricanesports.com) – The University of Miami women’s soccer team will face the Under-19 Trinidad and Tobago National Team on Saturday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Cobb Stadium on the UM campus.
The friendly international contest is part of Trinidad and Tobago’s five warm-up matches in preparation for the upcoming FIFA Women’s Under-19 World Championships in Edmonton, Canada. The tour includes matches with the University of Boca, Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University.
The Hurricanes are coming off a 10-9-1 overall record last season, including a third place finish in the BIG EAST Northeast division. Additionally, Miami made an NCAA Tournament appearance for the first time in school history.
Junior defender Lisa Gomez holds some international experience for the Hurricanes, starting for the Mexican National Team in a match against the United States on January 12.
