Soccer Faces #20 Florida

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The University of Miami soccer team looks to extend its win-streak to five as it travels to face the No. 20-ranked Florida Gators. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m. in Gainesville, Fla. at the Percy Beard Stadium Sunday afternoon.
The Hurricanes enter the contest 4-0-0, after downing Central Florida 4-1 Friday night. The Gators are 2-1 on the season, beating LSU 3-0 Friday night.
Florida leads the all-time series 1-0, the Gators beat Miami 4-2 last season in Coral Gables. UF was ranked No. 10 in the nation at the time.
The Hurricanes outshot the Gators 20 to 12 in the losing effort.
Junior Laura West (Allen, Texas) continues to lead the Hurricanes in goals scored with four on the season. Sophomore Vonda Matthews (Broken Arrow, Okla.) follows with three goals and two assists.
