UM Women's Soccer Travels To Face FAU

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The University of Miami women’s soccer team begins a three-game road swing with Florida Atlantic on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Boca Raton, Fla.
UM (0-1-0 overall) will travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala. to participate in the University of Alabama Invitational this weekend, facing Mississippi State and Alabama.
UM leads the series with FAU (2-0-0 overall) 2-0, recording five or more goals in the wins over the Owls.
The Hurricanes are looking for the first victory of the season after falling 4-2 to #10 Florida on Sunday in the 2000 season opener. Freshman Nicole Safran (Harrison City, Penn.) and sophomore Lisa Gomez (Boca Raton, Fla.) were the two Hurricanes to score goals for UM.
The Owls won 4-0 on Friday against Eckerd, then defeated McNeese State 6-1 on Sunday.
