A native of Mt. Sinai, N.Y., Singer enjoyed a fine season of her own as she was second on the team with seven goals and four assists.

The two freshman led Miami to their first national ranking and trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2001.  The Hurricanes climbed to the No. 25 spot in the polls and played Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, falling 3-0.

In only their second collegiate match, both Steinbruch and Singer recorded hat tricks in an 8-0 win over Alabama A&M.
