Soccer Falls To FSU

CORAL GABLES, Fla.-The University of Miami soccer team fell to Florida State in day one of the 2003 Nike Seminole Classic in Tallahassee, Fla.
FSU (3-4-0) won its first match at home this season and the fourth straight over Miami (4-4-0) beating the Hurricanes 7-1.
Jyene Mack (Ventura, Calif.) scored the first goal of her career in the 84th minute of the match for the Hurricanes.
Julia Schnugg led the way for Florida State as she scored two goals and recorded two assists for a team-leading six points.
Miami concludes the tournament Sunday against Jacksonville at 11 a.m.
