Jim Blankenship Resigns As Head Coach

CORAL GABLES, Fla.–The University of Miami Athletic Department announced today the resignation of Jim Blankenship as its Head Women’s Soccer Coach.

He was the founding coach of the team having joined the program in 1998. His record over his four years as head coach was 42-34-3.

In 2001 he led the team to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
